Nostalgia floats through many pieces I have created. I want to merge the memories of the past that may haunt the hopes for the future; to incite a feeling of doubt. These things can exist together- with the doubt scratching at your mind, I and others are pushed to make moves to ensure life changes in the ways we are hoping. I’d like to have viewers think of all the strange, painful, disappointing events that have occurred alongside sincere beauty, creation, and displays of love.
